Covid-19 and walk-in services:

Walk-in services at public counters are currently unavailable.

For urgent services, please make an appointment only if you are currently well.

For non-urgent services, please apply online. If you cannot apply online, send paper applications by courier or post.

Wellington Office:

DIA’s Wellington public counter for Passports, Citizenship and Births, Deaths and Marriages enquiries has moved and is now appointment only. Please visit our website or call to book an appointment. We encourage customers to use our online services where possible:

Auckland Office:

DIA’s Auckland public counter for Passports, Citizenship and Births, Deaths and Marriages enquiries in Auckland has moved to 12-14 Nicholls Lane, Building 2, Parnell, Auckland 1010 (Show map)

Opening hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am to 4:00pm (excluding public holidays). 

Manukau Office:

DIA’s Manukau public counter for Passports, Citizenship and Births, Deaths and Marriages enquiries in Manukau has moved to 7 Ronwood Avenue, Manukau 2104 (Show map)

Opening hours – Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm (excluding public holidays).

Limited parking is available onsite - Our parking spaces are labelled, “DIA”.  There are public parking options nearby.
