Using the Privacy Maturity Assessment Framework
Through the Framework, you can select – against each of the Framework’s attributes – the maturity levels that best represent your agency’s specific needs. You can also set desired target levels indicating where improvements can be made in the long term.
The Framework should be used in conjunction with:
- User guide for the Privacy Maturity Assessment Framework (version 2.0) (416kb PDF)
- Privacy Maturity Assessment Elements and Attributes (version 2.0)(584kb PDF)
- Privacy Maturity Assessment Tool, for recording ratings and providing visual summaries.*
*NOTE: This tool is currently only available in Excel format on the Public Service Intranet (for government agencies only).
The Privacy Maturity Assessment Tool can be used to record your agency’s current state, short- to-medium-term targets, and longer-term goals. It also provides visual summaries of the results.
If you have any questions regarding the Framework or Tool please contact the Government Chief Privacy Officer.
