Latest reported scams

The following email, TXT and fax messages were reported to us as a potential scam. Upon review, the messages were found to include a number of characteristics that identified them as part of or similar to a malicious campaign. They do not cover all scams but they may help you identify a scam through a number of similarities such as message content and sender’s details.

Please note Internal Affairs do not investigate phone call or postal scams.

For online incidents and other types of scams such as fraudulent phone calls, please visit the Orb.  The Orb is an online reporting tool used by Consumer Protection, NetSafe, the Privacy Commissioner, Commerce Commission and many other agencies.
