The Apprentice's hardwoman to dispense advice
« on: 04 Oct 11, 03:05:pm »
The Gay Auckland Business Association has cooked up a treat for its October Fruits After 5 gathering in the form of special guest speaker Catherine Livingstone, a business and employment expert who was a contestant on The Apprentice New Zealand.

The hard-hitting contestant who was the last woman standing on the reality TV show will speak about how glbt businesses can prepare themselves for success as a world-wide double-dip recession approaches. She will also discuss when is time to take a risk, the Gen-Y effect of getting us on track, as well as how to utilise social media to make easy revenue.

Livingstone, who also gives business advice on TV1's Good Morning, will be available to answer any questions and will be at Fruits After 5 for the evening if anyone wishes to speak with her privately.

Fruits After 5 will be at Auckland's new gay bar DNA on Wednesday, from 5.30PM, at 382 Karangahape Rd, in the former Kamo space.

GABA will also launch the 2011 Charity Auction – GABA Gold, as well as applications for the GABA Charitable Trust Scholarships for 2011.
