Blenheim man attacked for being "homo" in pink

A Blenheim barman has been savagely attacked by two men who taunted him as a "pink-shirt-wearing homo."

The news service reports that Kent Morgan, a married father of one, was left bloodied and injured after the two men assaulted him as he walked home from work late Wednesday night.

"Some people are caught back in prehistoric ages where guys can't wear pink shirts," he said.
