Auckland's lesbian ball is in danger of being cancelled if more women don’t commit to buying tickets.

Under the Sea, the Westie Lesbian Ball is scheduled for Saturday 26 November, however organiser Cissy Rock says it is in real danger of not going ahead this year.

“We need to feel the lesbian love - there’s lots of talk but no ticket buying.” she says.

She’s asking women to email with a commitment to buying a ticket by Sunday evening as she will need to make a final decision about the ball by Monday.

“I need 40 more tickets to make it viable, come out West, it’s only 20 minutes on the motorway.”
