Who are Volunteers?

Volunteers all around the Country are the lifeblood of Lifeline New Zealand; without them, we would be unable to provide many of the helplines and services that are vital to our community.

We have Lifeline Volunteer Centres in Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Hawke's Bay, Taranaki, Wairarapa, Nelson/Marlborough, and Christchurch.

We are always looking for volunteers for our 24/7 helpline and Face to Face Counselling,  and in Auckland for Kidsline and Chinese Lifeline .   As a Volunteer Counsellor you dedicate a few hours a month to Lifeline, and in exchange we provide training that meets international best-practise, and a great team environment!

Please have a look through the website for more information, or if you are in Year 11 of high school and would like to know more about becoming a Kidsline Buddy, please visit our Kidsline site at www.kidsline.org.nz.
