Support our work

Do you want to be involved? There are so many ways we could benefit from your help right now.

Women's Refuge is a key national organisation working to end domestic violence towards women and children – and we couldn’t do it without the generous support of New Zealanders everywhere.

You can make a difference to the lives of women and children by donating funds now, or through your pay, or in your will. You can even organise your own fundraiser, or join our very generous supporters by becoming a sponsor.

Perhaps we can interest you in volunteering at Women’s Refuge? Volunteers are the backbone of our organisation, expertly staffing the Women’s Refuge Crisisline to help women and children in their communities. We’re always looking for new volunteers to bring their energy and skills. We offer full training, flexible hours, and a warm and supportive environment.

And if you wish to donate good-quality items or funds directly to the Women’s Refuge in your local community, or help them collect donations in our annual street appeals or lend a hand in other ways they may need, please contact your local refuge.
