Become an EECA Business programme partner

Industrial efficiency programme partners

EECA Business has an industrial programme that provides opportunities for consultants and other service providers to be approved as EECA programme partners. Programme partners are able to access EECA funding to help their business clients identify and implement energy efficiency and renewable energy opportunities.

Partnership types, and how to become a partner are outlined below:

Industrial systems auditing partners

EECA Business partners for the industrial energy audit programme are approved based on the technology systems for which they have been accredited under the EMANZ  EnergyMasters® Specialist scheme.

EnergyMasters® Specialist accreditation can be obtained for compressed air, pumping, fan, process heat and industrial refrigeration systems.

By obtaining (and maintaining) an EnergyMasters® Specialist accreditation in one of more of these technology areas, you will be accepted as an EECA Business industrial programme partner for the same technology areas.

Requirements and instructions on how to apply for an EnergyMasters® Specialist accreditation.

You do not need to be an EMANZ member to become an EnergyMasters® Specialist.

Boiler tuning partners

Boiler tuning programme partners are appointed directly by EECA.

Quality-certified motor rewinders programme partners

For New Zealand motor rewind workshops to be endorsed as EECA Business programme partners, they must obtain certification according to the Telarc Motor Rewind Workshop Quality Code.

Information on how to be certified to the quality code.

Commercial building programme partners

EECA Business appoints its commercial building programme partners through periodic requests for proposals (RFPs) approximately every 12 to 18 months.

Organisations that are not programme partners are encouraged to consider forming an alliance with a current partner until the next EECA commercial building programme partner RFP.

The periodic RFPs are issued through the Government Electronic Tenders Service (GETS).

You can register as a GETS user at any time to receive automatic email alerts when any RFP of interest is issued.
