Research centre

To continue to make the best decisions about energy efficiency, conservation, and renewable energy, we need detailed and accurate information and analysis of energy use and the potential for energy savings.

We also need to monitor how New Zealanders’ energy use is changing, so we can see the impact of our programmes and other influences.

Research and monitoring gives us the sound analytical basis for our work.
