In Person Support

GenderBridge holds a social group meeting every month where we usually invite guest speakers to give talks on topics relevant to our communities. The speaker usually goes for around half an hour. Following the speaker, great conversation invariably occurs. Newcomers are always enthusiastically welcomed! There are usually around 8 to 15 members attending each meeting. We are a friendly, supportive bunch and our social meetings are a way to connect with other trans people and their allies.

Coming to a meeting for the first time can be intimidating, but we were all newcomers once and we all understand what it's like to take that huge step of meeting other people in the trans community. There is always off-street parking available close to the door of the OUTline offices. You are most welcome to bring support people with you. We promise that it is worth it, and one of us would be happy to correspond beforehand via email or phone so you can be sure to know at least one person before heading out to the meeting.

Whether you're just curious about trans people, questioning your own gender identity, mid-transition, or already living the as the gender you've always known you were, there's a place for you at our meetings.

We hope to see you soon!
