Community Grants Schemes


The Department of Internal Affairs administers and provides information and advice on the following community grants or funding schemes to support local initiatives and community services.

Lottery Grants


The New Zealand Lottery Grants Board was set up by Parliament to distribute the proceeds of state lotteries to the New Zealand community. It does this through Lottery Grants.

Trust and Fellowship Grants


Individuals, community and welfare groups can apply for a range of funding. These trusts and fellowships are managed by the Department of Internal Affairs.
