Hey AMmeter,

Firstly welcome to the forum.

I can't really help with the coming out to parents part, (as I was already estranged from them when I figured out I was Bi/Gay, so there are plenty of people on here far more qualified) but if you need any pointers or someone to talk to in regards to the boarding school situation, let me know.  I was a boarder at New Plymouth Boys High a few years back and know how hard it can be trying to reconcile your sexuality with the boarding school culture.  But believe me, you are not the only gay in the village there!  The amount of your classmates are also gay or bi that you discover a few years later completely messes with your head  Smile

Otherwise, I'd suggest having a chat to one of the school counsellors, or to one of the Housemasters (Do you still call them Housemasters at your boarding school lol?) that you trust.  Both the counsellor, and believe it or not, the Housemaster, will have been here before.  It's also a lot easier to get through when you have one or the other, or both, that you know you can go to. Smile

If you assume everyone is stupid, you spend your life being pleasantly surprised...

Hi AMmeter

Welcome to the Forum.  Perhaps you could check out the Teen Zone Section for under 20 year old people?  Some pothers post here from time to time, and their questions and answers given may help you.  There is also a section on Coming Out.

Lots of teenagers are nervous about telling their parents or anyone else, especially if you don't know how they will react.  There's no hurry to tell everyone or anyone until you're ready.  There are some good people to talk to at Outline
