Rainbow Youth Open Day

13 February 2010 at 12:00PM

Come check out the Centre
281 Kanrangahape Road, Newton

As part of Ourfest the Auckland pride celebrations we're opening our centre up this coming Saturday 13 February from 12pm till 5pm so that people that normally can't drop in during a regular week have the opportunity to pop by and see what it's like.

We'll also have competitions running every hour for youth, with a grand prize pack for the overall winner.

Come by, buy some merchandise, fill our a volunteer and/or membership form, drop off some stuff for donation, up to you. We'll be here.

What we mean when we say queer

A reclaimed word that represents sexuality and gender diversity. We use it to encompass lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, fa'afafine, and takataapui identities, as well as everyone in between and not sure. This word is used by many people, but it is also appreciated that it is not the preferred term for everybody.
