Fri 15 January: The Big Day Out music festival at Auckland's Mount Smart Stadium, featuring Peaches, Lilly Allen, Muse, Fabian, Ladyhawke, Minuit, Groove Armada, Calvin Harris, Kasabian, The Mars Volta and many more.
Fri 22 - Sun 24 January: The L Word Down Under Convention in Sydney, where fans of The L Word can meet the stars and other fans.
Sat 23 January: Out in the Square, Wellington's outdoor LGBT festival day in Civic Square. The raindate is the next day.

Sun 14 February: Big Gay Out 2010, Auckland's popular annual LGBT picnic day, Coyle Park, Point Chevalier. Look out for GayNZ.com's stall!
Sat 20 February: Carnivale Party in central Auckland, from the team behind 2009's Hero Party, venue and more details to be announced.
Sun 21 - Sun 28 February: Bear New Zealand, featuring a BBQ at K' Road's Kamo bar, a Bear Drag night at Caluzzi, an UnderBear party at Urge bar, the Mr. Urge New Zealand Bear pageant and a special Tri-Nations Dance Party featuring DJs from the US, New Zealand and Australia.
Fri 26 February: Air New Zealand's Pink Flight (likely date - to be confirmed)
Sat 27 February: Sydney's Mardi Gras Parade
Sun 28 February: Sydney's Harbour Party
Sat 6 March: Sydney's Mardi Gras Party, Australasia's biggest LGBT party.
Sat 6 - Fri 12 March: Auckland's Aroha Festival, launching in Western Springs Park, with youth, Takataapui, Japanese, Indonesian and Hawaiian events.
Sat 13 March: Auckland's Pasifika Festival begins.
Fri 2 - Sun 4 April (Easter): Out and Loud Choral Festival, uniting LGBT choirs from across Australasia for a diverse musical showcase.
May - June: Out Takes Film Festival, a collection of LGBT film screenings in Auckland and Wellington, but not in Christchurch in 2010.
Sat 6 November: Queen of the Whole Universe, a huge annual fundraising drag pageant at Auckland's Aotea Centre.
