Who are we?
Volunteering Canterbury is an incorporated charitable trust that supports and promotes volunteering. We uphold the integrity of volunteering and the rights and responsibilities of volunteers. We can help match individual interests with groups who need volunteers. Learn more about us.

How do you become a volunteer?
Becoming a volunteer is easy! Phone (03) 366 2442 to arrange an informal personal interview or learn more about becoming a volunteer and registering online.

Become a member of Volunteering Canterbury
If your organisation would like to join Volunteering Canterbury contact us to request a registration kit.  We will need a postal address to mail this to you.

Do you need a volunteer?
If you are a not-for-profit non-government organisation or project which involves volunteers, contact us to request a registration kit. We also have a range of training and support services for volunteers and co-ordinators of volunteers.

Why Volunteer?
Monday 8 June 10.30 a.m.
This one hour session gives an opportunity to discuss: What volunteering is and why people do it; Rights and Responsibilities of volunteers; What voluntary work you could choose; Services offered by Volunteering Canterbury.   Venue is St Andrews Church Lounge, 107 Marriotts Road, North New Brighton.  Everyone is welcome and there is no charge.
