koolies.

I was meaning, is it as ancient as you say? or has it evolved verbally? meh...

I like how in japanese they have 3 alphabets. 2 are the same just different symbols (sorta like a and A) except all japanese words are spelled with one and all foreign words are spelled with the other, and the last alphabet is the chinese symbols.

like the sentance, "This is a spoon" has both japanese and foreign words, spoon being the foreign one:
"Kore wa, supuun desu" everything would be written in katakana except supuun which would be written in romaji (roman alphabet words)

but all languages have probably decendant from a common language that existed many thousands of years ago...

Welsh was not originally a written language, much like Maori (i think)

The welsh were a divided people, living in tribes, different kings etc.

There was no technological advances with them really, except perhaps the Longbow. The welsh are renounded for being the Best bowman of the Medieval West

What like, Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch

Small little town with about 3000 people

Theres also a tounge in cheek town name of

Llanhyfryddawelllehynafolybarcudprindanfygythiadtrienusyrhafnauole Which roughly translates too "a quiet beautiful village; a historic place with rare kite under threat from wretched blades" in responce to a proposed wind farm.

A train station in wales also is called Gorsafawddacha'idraigodanheddogleddollônpenrhynareurdraethceredigion which means  "the Mawddach (river) station and its dragon teeth at the Northern Penrhyn Road on the golden beach of Cardigan Bay"
