CPWS: Crime Prevention

The CPWS: Crime Prevention scheme provides three-year to five-year salary and programme funding to support youth development projects aimed at reducing youth offending. Projects funded use a community development approach aimed at strengthening community support and services for youth. Funding is targeted to areas of high youth crime and youth aged 14 to 20 years.

The achievement of objectives for projects funded under this scheme will be measured through evaluation.

Funding through this scheme has been fully allocated until 2007.
