About Jolisa Gracewood...


Jolisa Gracewood was born in Dunedin and has been moving steadily northward ever since. In January 2004 she moved from New York City to New Haven, Connecticut, with her astrophysicist partner and their now three-and-a-half-year-old, who is a recognized industry expert on trains, planes, and giant squid. She has a PhD in Comparative Literature, reviews books for the NZ Listener, and teaches non-fiction writing. She is currently editing the autobiography of television pioneer, radio legend and historian, Shirley Maddock.
